We started by finishing off the top dressing of the tees and surrounds. Our big aim is to improve the quality of these surfaces so that they perform better In the playing season and the winter months. We have also managed to get all our fairways and surrounds verti drained and all tees and walk on/ off areas earthquaked. The greens had a deep air injection, this blasts air deep into the soil to create air pockets that will help to move water through. Also all the hedges around the course have been cut. We have had a few of us complete new qualifications this month, with Steve getting his tree felling qualification and Conor, josh and myself getting our chainsaw cross cutting. I also managed to complete my level 2 in greenkeeping.
